Business Systems Analyst
Brought on board to coordinate select migration-related development projects for Title Management (TM), a proprietary cross-business database and distribution application, expanding TM capabilities to encompass all NBC titles. Interview key end users to gather and establish business requirements, based upon a thorough review existing system, data, and integration requirements. Develop functional designs and communicate data / technical requirements to technical teams to drive transition from SQL Server 2000 to SQL Server 2005; support all phases of design, development, and implementation utilizing Tibco integration server software as well as VB.NET, C#.NET, and ASP.NET, ensuring alignment with all functional and technical requirements. Craft use cases and requirements documents; utilize Rational Suite to create / manage project artifacts for the offshore team. Collaborate with QA team to prioritize defects for resolution.
Key Achievements:

  • Played a key role in reviewing and updating high-level use cases, coordinating with SMEs and SAP IT liaisons to expand upon documentation.

  • Managed the security systems enhancement project. Project was crucial to completing the merger of the Extended Service Plan Systems for the United States and Europe.
  • Led the review group that reduced costs for a daily batch program from $2000 per run to $10 per run by correcting an index on a production table.
  • Authored and published the Training Section of the Sales Operations Client/Server Application Guide for the (NACSS) North American Customer Service Systems. Guide was designed to standardize development of client/server applications across NACSS.
